Eyebrows for an Oval Shaped Face
Those of you lucky enough to have an oval face shape will be start to realize that the oval is considered to be the perfect face shape and the easiest to match both hairstyles eyebrow shapes to.
If you have an oval face shape the best thing to do with your brows is to keep them tidy and shaped along their natural curve. If you do wish to shape your eyebrows then the perfect brow is considered to have a soft arch with a slight angled shape.
Eyebrows for a Round Face Shape
The aim for ladies with round face shapes is to make your face appear longer and thinner, basically to look more oval shaped than round. This can easily be done by shaping your eyebrows to have some height. High rounded eyebrows will only enhance the roundness of your face so aim for angled brows to gain the height as these will be best!
Brows should be straight up and down, the arch of your brows should be as high as you can possibly get it, this will all help draw the eye of others up and down the face creating the illusion of a longer face.
Eyebrows for an Oblong Face Shape
The aim for an oblong face shape is to make the face appear shorter, eyebrows should therefore be shaped the opposite to the round face shape and to stop eyes wandering up and down the face which potentially could make a long face look even longer!
To do this eyebrows should be straight shaped across the face, arches or a curve to the eyebrow should be minimal and happen three quarter of the way down towards the end of the eyebrow to keep it looking smooth and as flat as possible across the face.
Eyebrows for a Square Face Shape
Ladies who have the square face shape have very strong angled features, this can either be balanced by having an angled brow with a high noticeable arch or soften by creating soft curved shaped brows. If you want to balance a strong jaw with strong angled brows it's best to leave brows a little thicker.
Shaped brows can appear thicker then reality by drawing lightly over them in a pencil a shade or two darker then the brow its self, however you shouldn't press on hard or draw one long line over brows this will have them looking like thick slugs! To soften a harsh jaw line keep eyebrows rounded and curved, they should still arch but softly.
Eyebrows for a Heart Face Shape
Women with heart shaped faces may not know this but your eyebrows play a big part in creating that feminine heart shaped face! Without the perfectly shaped brows your face shape can easily be mistaken as just having a pointy chin.
The aim for ladies with a heart shaped face is to create two beautifully curved and rounded brows that act as the top of a love heart whilst your chin creates the point at the bottom. Brows should arch and curve softly to create a very feminine shape. Be careful however as you don't want to over do it and end up with the constantly 'surprised' look.
