Short Hairstyles for Oval Shaped Faces
If you are lucky enough to have an oval shaped face but you're either on the petite side, have a hectic life style or have thin hair then a short hairstyle is best for you. Why would you want to hide your amazing symmetrical features with long hair anyway?!
Layers are a must have to highlight your features, try layers that frame your face either picking out your cheeks or jaw which ever you think is your best feature.
For you super busy working mums why not try a graduated bob? Blast off the back with your hair dryer and use a large round brush at the sides.
If you're willing to be a bit daring a pixie crop would be great for you! Choose a strong bold colour with your pixie crop and see your 'perfect' feature accentuated.

Long Hairstyles for Oval Shaped Faces
If you want it long make sure you add volume. Try and go for a more wavy style than poker straight, having poker straight hair with a lot of length will pull your face down and perceive you as having more of an oblong face than oval which is not what you want.
Try and not grow your hair longer then your bust line as this will seriously drag your face down.
If you have fine hair then stay away from long hair all together, unless you want to add extensions which would add fullness and volume to your hair.
If you desire to have swaying long locks just remember what you have just read and you will look amazing.

Curly Hairstyles for Oval Shaped Faces
Curly hair can be very thick. If you wish to have long curly hair then make sure you have some layers and the weight taken out of it. This will encourage your curls to spring up so your hair will look sexy and curly all over rather then in a sort of triangle shape towards the end, which can look rather unflattering.
If your hair is naturally very curly you will either love it or hate it and there is one problem, you cannot change it! If you don't like your hair you need to accept your hair is curly and get a hairstyle that enhances those curls. If you do love your hair then great, you have realised you should be grateful you have an amazing oval face that suits any style and that having curly hair to go with it is just a bonus!
As long as you take the weight out of it and add some layer to frame your face your hair will need absolutely no styling and still look fabulous once it's dry.

Fringes for Oval Shaped Faces
When it comes down to fringes the choice is up to you.
If you have thicker hair, a blunt fringe will suit you more, thinner hair tends to suit more wispy fringes or fringes swept to the side.
You're face shape will suit your hairstyle whether there is no fringe, a side fringe or a full fringe incorporated in to it. If you're looking to change your hairstyle but not too dramatically why not experiment with a fringe?
It is entirely up to you and if you feel confident with or without one.

Styles Oval Shaped Faces should Avoid
Well what can I say? There is not much you oval shaped blessed women will not suit.
All I advise is that you try and show off what you feel are your best feature; if its your eyes don't cover them up with a heavy fringe. If your jawline is your best feature then add layers around the jaw to fame that area or try a bob, don't let your hair grow out of style and in your face hiding your features.
Also remember to pick a style you can manage to recreate each day at home and you will be fine.
